Electrical Engineer II –

Summary:
Electrical Engineering at Kimberly-Clark requires application, design, development, project management and troubleshooting skills to design, build, test and support equipment for manufacturing of consumer and business to business health and hygiene products. Incumbent typically reports to a P&TD Manager, WCPS Manager, or Unit Team Leader. Receive direction in the form of specific objectives. Recognized for understanding application of technology and demonstrates ability to interface with team members.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate, design and develop, and optimize manufacturing and supporting processes
- Develop knowledge and skills to be recognized as an implementor of engineering principles and /or scientific analysis in meeting unit objectives.
- Identify and resolve process and equipment problems.
- Initiate creative and practical designs which meet expectations.
- Implement engineering and scientific analysis principles.
- Apply engineering standards and procedures.
- Document work to ensure information is retrievable.
- Manage self in accordance with the expected behaviors of the Leadership Qualities.
- Carry out all work ensuring effective Safety and Quality attitudes and practices.
- Project responsibility of $.2 MM to $1 MM
- Project team of 2 to 5 people
- Single or Multiple projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated personal sensitivity and competency in design and/or use of engineering/scientific analysis systems/tools
- A high level of initiative and a Global business perspective
- Ability to provide innovative contributions in a TEAM Environment
- Effective Communication Skills with the ability to discuss technical issues in a business environment
- Customer Focus when dealing with internal and external customers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently as well as with diverse teams and complete projects within required timeframes.
- Paper and tissue experience
